Hello Backyard Butterfly Backers,
I hope this email finds you well and brimming with excitement! Thanks to your amazing support and dedication, our Kickstarter campaign has surpassed a significant milestone—we're over 50% funded!
I will be running a drawing with some fun giveaways over on Instagram starting tomorrow (Friday May 17th). To enter: (First, wait for the official announcement-- you guys, our early backers are getting a one day head start!!) Share a photo in a post or story and make sure to mention @moonrover_games. I'm so excited to see your beautiful colored-in coloring page(s)!
- Who can enter? Both kids and adults are allowed to submit their art.
- How many submissions are allowed per IG account? As long as every page represents a different person, this is unlimited. Ex.: 5 people in your family-- 5 entries. A teacher with 30 students-- 31 entries! Host a game night-- [x] entries!! Also, a group photo sharing multiple coloring pages will still count as multiple submissions.
- How should I show off my coloring page? A photograph of you holding it would be very cute, but not necessary. A nice photo showing off your artistic talents works too.
- Can we link to your Kickstarter page in stories? Yes! I would really appreciate that.
Here are some additional ideas on how you can help spread the word and ensure our campaign continues to soar:
- Engage with Communities: Share your excitement for our project to online monarch forums, gardening clubs, homeschool co-ops, and communities related to board games.
- Share on Social Media: Take to your favorite social platforms and share our Kickstarter link with your friends, family, and followers. Personal recommendations carry immense weight and can significantly expand our reach.
- Reach out to Local Media: Contact local newspapers, radio stations, or community blogs to share our story. Highlight the unique aspects of our game and how it promotes education, environmental awareness, and family bonding.
- Personal Outreach: Don't underestimate the power of direct communication. Reach out to friends, family members, and colleagues personally and share why this project is meaningful to you. Your passion might just inspire them to pledge their support.
- Host a Butterfly-Themed Gathering: Organize a fun gathering with friends or family centered around a native plant exchange, a dinner, or a board game night. Use this opportunity to introduce them to our project and encourage them to support us.
Remember, every action, no matter how small, contributes to our collective success. Together, we can bring the wonder of the monarch life cycle to tabletops around the world and ignite a love for nature in hearts young and old.
Thank you once again for your unwavering support and belief in our vision.
Warm regards,
Lacey Ziemkiewicz
